The Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Mayor Randy Hope and Chatham-Kent council are taking this opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of local seniors with the 30th Annual Senior Achievement Awards.
The purpose of this award is to recognize and honour older adults Age 60+ that have achieved significant goals and made an outstanding contribution to the citizens of Chatham-Kent.
Nominations can be made by any person or organization wishing to recognize Chatham-Kent seniors.
Randy Hope endorses an impartial selection committee that selects the Chatham-Kent Senior of the Year.
Nomination forms will be available at all Chatham-Kent Municipal Centres, (Chatham, Blenheim, Dresden, Ridgetown, Tilbury and Wallaceburg), all Chatham-Kent public libraries and all 11 seniors’ centres within the municipality.
Deadline for receipt of Nomination Forms is Friday, May 19.

Presentation of the awards will take place at The 2016 Chatham-Kent Senior Expo and Achievement Awards on Friday, June 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blenheim Recreation Centre (Arena).
