Update: The fog advisory has ended this morning across Chatham-Kent.

A fog advisory has been issued across Chatham-Kent, as near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.

“Dense fog has suddenly developed in Windsor this evening,” Environment Canada officials said.

“Patches of dense fog, with near zero visibility are also expected across the Chatham to Sarnia areas tonight as well. The fog will lift by Monday morning in the wake of a warm front moving through the region.”

Environment Canada officials say travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.

If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility.

Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
