A Chatham man faces charges after a domestic incident in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Saturday, March 25, at approximately 3 p.m., a man and woman began arguing in their residence located on Agnes Street in Wallaceburg.
The argument escalated to the point where the man allegedly punched the woman in her face.
The victim was not injured and called 9-1-1.
Officers attended and arrested the man.
The 56-year-old Chatham man is now facing charges of assault.
He was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date of April 12, 2017.
