Peacefully, surrounded by loving family at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, Warren Delescau Houle passed away at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Pauline Houle. Loving father of Trevor Houle (Di Harnden), Tim (Karen) Houle and the late David (Betty Jo) Houle; and step-father of Dan Houle (Brenda), Lynn (Allan) Harris, Ken (Sharon) Houle and Scott (Jessica) Houle. Treasured grandfather of Calvin (Karlynn), Kindra (Ryan) McMillan, Matthew, Katie, Mary (Rob) Veasey, Elizabeth, and Stephen; many step-grandchildren; and great-grandchildren Kye, Madelyn and Merrick. Dear brother of Don (Cecile) Houle. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Joan Houle; parents D.F. and Annie Houle; brothers Frank, Alec, Earl, Jack and Jim; and sisters Marie and Rita.
Warren was a First Class Stationary Engineer in Operations at Imperial Oil Limited in Sarnia for 38 years. He was a devoted family man, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Service
A memorial mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1465 Lecaron Ave, Sarnia.
