Douglas Owen McLean (WWll Veteran, Royal Canadian Army) A resident of Wallaceburg and Port Lambton, passed away at the Fairfield Park Nursing Home, Wallaceburg on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 91.
Doug is the son of the late Arthur and Lena McLean. Beloved husband of the late Mabel (Jackson) and the late Alice (Miles). Loving father of Craig (Viviane), Cathie McLean and step-father of Cindy Miles (Gerry Clarke) and Mike Miles (Celeste). Cherished grandfather of Guy, Marijke, Kristen, Andrea, Brian Douglas, Crystal, Alice, Bryan, Jennifer, Erin, Mark, Brian, Adam and great grandfather of Hazen, Emily, Dylan, Jessica, Bryanna, Lauren, Luke and Elise. Predeceased by his brothers Ken, James and Charles and sisters Virginia, Margaret and Dorothy.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 1 PM until time of a Celebration of Doug’s Life at 2 PM. Interment at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
