A Chatham man was re-arrested on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after being released from custody.
Police officials say on April 4, 2017 the man was arrested and charged with uttering threats toward a woman he had been in a relationship with. He was released that same date with conditions, along with a future court date. One of the conditions of his release was not to communicate in any way with that woman.
The very next day, the man sent that woman a friend request from his Facebook page.
On April 5, 2017 the 33-year-old Chatham was arrested and charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
