Each year, hundreds of unwanted cats are born in Chatham-Kent. Their fate varies, some are taken in by animal loving folks while others succomb to disease, road tragedy, or worse.
Each kitten born this year can have a litter at 6-months. The results are exponential with one cat having an average of 2.8 kittens per litter creating over 11,606,077 kittens within 9 years if left unchecked.
Let’s be proactive and start by neutering/spaying 50 cats in our community. Imagine the impact these 50 cats will have on this year’s population!
