Update: The Chatham-Kent Fire Department appear to have the house fire under control on Hiram Street in Wallaceburg.
There does not appear to be any injuries as a result of the blaze, although this has not been confirmed.
The fire started at around 2 p.m.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officers were also at the scene, along with an ambulance.
Three fire trucks and several firefighters were also spotted at the scene.
A portion of Hiram Street, between Johnston and Selkirk Street, was being blocked off while an investigation took place.
Sources say the Ontario Fire Marshall will be called to the scene

Original story: Emergency crews are at the scene of a house fire on Hiram Street in Wallaceburg.
Flames could be seen shooting out of the back of a home, as Wallaceburg firefighters responded to the blaze.
The fire ignited at around 2 p.m.
Details are scarce at the moment.
