An alleged shoplifter was arrested while entering Wallaceburg on Friday.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say a theft took place at the Rexall Pharmacy on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Police say a female allegedly stole a number of items from the store and left without paying.
Police were notified and officers located the accused on Highway 40 entering Wallaceburg.
The suspect was arrested and later released with a future court date.
