Early this morning around 5:30 a.m. emergency crews responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motor vehicle and motorcycle at the intersection of McNaughton Avenue and Sandys Street in Chatham.
Police officials say the driver of the motorcycle was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with life-threatening injuries.
The intersection remains closed as police continue their investigation.
Motorists are asked to use an alternate route this morning.
