Police investigating homicide in Windsor’s east end

The Windsor Police are investigating a homicide, which took place early this morning in the city’s east end.

Police officials say on Saturday April 29 at approximately 3:55 a.m. patrol officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Tecumseh Rd. East for a report of an injured person on the sidewalk.

Officers arrived to find an injured male.

“He was transported to hospital and later succumbed to his injuries,” Windsor Police officials stated.

The Major Crimes Branch and Forensic Identification Branch were called to the scene and the investigation was classified as a homicide.

The investigation is in its initial stages.
