Busy weekend ahead for Wallaceburg Red Devils

The Wallaceburg Red Devils have a busy weekend ahead of them, with three games scheduled in as many days.

The Red Devils (2-0-1) will be at home tonight (Friday, May 5) against the Point Edward Pacers (2-1-0) in Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse League action.

The game gets underway at 7 p.m. at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena.

The seats have been packed and the fans have been loud in their first two games of the season.

A total of 425 people were in attendance at their home opener against Elora and 500 people packed the stands against Windsor last Sunday.

Wallaceburg will visit Niagara (2-1-0) on Saturday and then head to Windsor (1-1-1) to face their rival Clippers on Sunday.

Both games get started at 7 p.m.

Carter Hastings is leading the team in scoring so far this year, with 16 points (8 goals and 8 assists) in three games. Noble Jacobs has seen all of the action in net for Wallaceburg, and owns a .816 save percentage.
