Mr. George Beverley “Bev” Alexander, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully at the Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital in Petrolia, Ontario on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the age of 78 years.
He was born in Bentinck Township and was a son of the late Wilfred and Edith (Hetsler) Alexander. Beloved husband of Donna (Metzger) Alexander. Loving father of Kathy (Larry) Robillard, Randy (Susan) Alexander and Kristi (Lyle Smith) Alexander. Dear grandfather of Adam, Ryan, Ashlee and Justin. He was a kind brother of Larry (Cork) Alexander, Wayne (Mary) Alexander, Dianne Dickson and brother-in-law of Florence Alexander, Jim (Marion) Metzger and Lorna (Jim) Kriesel. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by his brother Jim Alexander and his sister-in-law Lorraine Stanborough.
He had worked at Waltec in Wallaceburg for more than 40 years.
The late Bev Alexander is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2pm.
