Bergsma: Cornelia ” Corrie” formerly of R.R.#2 Florence, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the age of 84.
Born in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands daughter of the late Pieter and Pietertje (Gorissen) Vermeer. Beloved wife of the late Bernie Bergsma (2000). Loving mother of Talbot and Theresa, Patricia Kruisselbrink (John), Pete and Teresa, Jim and Zonya, Bill & Jennifer. Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters in The Netherlands. Predeceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The Bergsma Family will receive friends at the Eben-Ezer Canadian Reformed Church, 483 McNaughton Ave. E., Chatham on Wednesday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the Eben-Ezer Church on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment Shetland Cemetery following the luncheon.
