WDSS student competing in international poster contest

Some students from WDSS recently competed in the High School Poster / Visual Arts Contest sponsored by the Knights of Pythias.

The posters were to be created usig the theme: ‘That is a Friend?’

Faith St. Amand, a Grade 11 art student, won first locally.

Her poster went on to compete at the Michigan level, and won first again.

Now, the poster moves on to be judged at the Supreme Lodge International Level.

Krislyn Howell, also a Grade 11 art student, won third place at the Michigan level.

“Both students did a great job and offer best wishes to Faith as her poster competes at a international level,” said Scott Lalonde, a teacher a WDSS.
