Update: Last evening the Sarnia Police Service attended the area of Telfer Road regarding two calves roaming freely in the area.
Fortunately the owner of the calves has been located and efforts are being made to return them home safely.
The police want to thank the public for their assistance.
Original story: Police are looking for the owners of two calves in the Sarnia area.
Police officials say at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Monday, the Sarnia Police Service attended in the area of the 5700 block of Telfer Rd. in regards to two cows roaming free in the area.
On arrival officers located two male, black and white Holstein calves.
Officers checked with nearby farms in attempt to find where the calves had come from, but were unable to do so.
