Darryl Wayne Wright (Lance Corporal, United States Marine Corps, 1999 – 2007)
a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed away suddenly at his home in Windsor on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the age of 40.
Darryl is the son of Shirley McKnight and Edwin C. Wright. Beloved father of Haley, Emily, the late Erika (mother Norma Johnson), Delson, Daxon, Dayna, Daywyn, Lil Darryl, (mother Deanna Watson), Brihonna, Weston and grandfather of Serenity and Aden Dear brother of Chris (Nadine), Bruce, Presley (Shelina), Edwin (Matilda), Cheri and Tommy (Elena). He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will have a private time on Tuesday at 264 Altiman Rd. on Walpole Island from 2-7 and receive relatives and friends after 7 PM. The funeral will be celebrated at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 2 PM.
Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery, Walpole Island. Arrangements entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
