Wallaceburg Ladies Fastball wins season opener
The Wallaceburg Ladies Fastball team mercied Kent Bridge 12-2 on Tuesday, May 30.
Nikki Neeley pitched a complete game for Wallaceburg.
Neeley, Payton McFadden and Maria Beauchamp all picked up triples on offense.
Doubles went to Kristine Moninger and Taryn Charbonneau.
Their next game is Thursday, June 1 at 8 p.m. at Stienhoff Park in Wallaceburg.
This will be the team’s home opener against the Wyoming Midgets.

– The CBD Girls u10 Fastball Warriors shutout the Port Lambton Pirates 20-0.
– The Legion Branch 18 Ladies Auxiliary Girls u12 Fastball Warriors fell short against Wyoming 3 as they were defeated 17-14.
– The Dauw Auto Wash Peewee RL Warriors pulled out a win against Corunna with a score 10-9.
– The Stubby Goat Peewee OBA Warriors fell to Corunna 6-4
