Dresden Kings release main camp information
The Dresden Junior Kings will be holding their main camp at the end of August.
Here are the details:
– Thursday, August 24, 2017 6:00PM – 8:00PM Location TBD
– Saturday, August 26, 2017 Practice: Team Wiseman 10:00AM – 11:00AM Location TBD, Team Houston 11:00AM – 12:00PM, Game: 1:00PM – 2:30PM
– Sunday, August 27, 2017 Practice: Team Houston 10:00AM – 11:00AM Location TBD, Team Wiseman 11:00AM – 12:00PM, Game: 1:00PM – 2:30PM
“Location for training camp has not yet been confirmed, camp will be held in Dresden Arena if the ice will be ready, if the ice is not ready the alternate location will be Thames Campus Arena,” Dresden Kings officials stated on social media.
“Any player wishing to attend our main camp is asked to go to our website and please register under the recruitment tab. Please note that all players attending camp are required to wear full facial protection as mandated by the OHA.”

Lakers skates
The Wallaceburg Lakers will be having skates at the Sarnia Progressive Arena.
The skates will be every Wednesday Night 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting June 28.

Maroons add Merline native
Merlin’s, Nick Delyzer has made it official, by committing to the Chatham Maroons for the upcoming GOJHL Season.
The 6’1 210 lbs. forward played the last two seasons for the Blenheim Blades in the Junior ‘C’ loop.
Delyzer, who is a left handed shot, 28 goals and 23 assists for 51 points last season.
In the 2017 playoffs with the Blades Delyzer had 1 goal and 5 assists.
