Our family is deeply saddened to inform you that our mom passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park.
Beloved wife of the late Ross Robertson (2009). Dear mother of Eric (Helen) Robertson and Catherine (Guy) Haggith. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Leah, Justin, Lawra, Molly, Halinka and Laura and her great grandchildren Julia, Cameron, Brooke, Kyle, Adi, Charlotte, Alice and Mabel.
Her strong will to live, her faith in God and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through to 7 days shy of her 100th birthday.
She will be remembered as an active member of Trinity United Church. She was known for her love of music, reading, theatre performing for Wallaceburg’s Little Theatre and anything else that our dad could involve her in. She enjoyed her summers in Meaford at the family cottage. As she never obtained a drivers license she’s fondly remembered as Wallaceburg’s “walker”
Following with mom’s wishes, cremation will take place.
Resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, 519-627-2861. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 7-9 pm. A celebration of life will take place on Friday June 23, 2017 at 10:30 am from the funeral home.
Interment of ashes with her and her husband Ross will take place in Riverview Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy the family would ask you to visit with the elderly or someone in need or make a donation to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18 (Wallaceburg) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
