Delbert Gillette “Speed” Soney, a resident of Walpole Island, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the age of 69.
Delbert is the son of the late Daisy and Alfred Soney. Loving brother of Elwood Soney, Marilyn Comartin (late Richard), Owen Soney, Deanna Soney, Kenny Soney (Cindy), Janis Waboose-Soney (Ralph) and the late Albert, Ralph and Charles. Dear nephew of Nona Sands. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday from 7-9 PM and at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Walpole Island on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1 PM until time of Funeral Service at 2 PM.
