Erickson: Stan Clifford a resident of Thamesville passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 96.
Born in Chatham, son of the late J.Henry and Claira (Grainger) Erickson. Stan loved to work on the farm with his Belgians, and competed with his teams in many plowing match over the years. Beloved husband of the late Reta (Belanger) Erickson. Loving dad of Ken Erickson, Lyle Erickson (Linda), Bob Erickson (Diane), Darrell Erickson, Ralph Erickson (Marilyn) and Pam Simpson (Cacey). Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Bunny Apthorp (late Harold). Predeceased by brothers Grainger Erickson (Mabel Lois) and Elgin Erickson (Mary); sister Arnetta Holland (Howard) and 2 grandchildren.
At Stan’s request a Private Family Service will be held. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. If desired, donations to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation would be appreciated.
