Mrs. Florida Misson, a life long resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday July, 29, 2017 at the age of 90 years.
She was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late William and Emma (Blanckaert) Vlaminck. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Misson. Loving mother of Rebecca Miller, Sister Bernadette Misson OSM. and mother-in-law of Cindy Misson. Predeceased by a son Paul Misson and a son-in-law Roy Miller. Dear grandmother of Dawn (Greg), Jessica, Michael and great grandmother of Mackenzie, Ethan and Alexis. Sister of Simone Stevens and Adrienne Doran. Predeceased by her sister Mary-Theresa Caron, her brother Andre Vlaminck, her brothers-in-law Julien Stevens and Neil Caron, and a sister-in-law Alice Vlaminck. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews family and friends.
The late Florida Misson is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 9 am – 12 noon. A service will then take place at the funeral home at 12 noon. Cremation will follow and the Interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Servants of Mary Omaha, Nebraska or the Chatham Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
