An interdenominational chiurch service and a barbecue with MPP Monte McNaughton will wrap up the annual WAMBO festivities in Wallaceburg on Sunday.

The service will run in the downtown Wallaceburg parking lot from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

“What better way to wrap up WAMBO than to gather as Christians from most of the churches in Wallaceburg to worship our Lord?” service organizers said.

“This year we welcome the Teen Challenge Choir from London who will, no doubt, both encourage and inspire us with their testimonies and a clear message from the Word of God.”

Following the service, McNaughton and his crew will be serving up gourmet hot dogs, chips and refreshments from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All are welcome and there is no cost.

“It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the Province of Ontario, to extend a welcome to all those visiting the 29th annual Wallaceburg Antique & Motor Boat Outing this weekend,” McNaughton said.

“Every year WAMBO reminds us of the beauty and uniqueness of Wallaceburg and its glorious site along the banks of the Sydenham River.”
