Gas bar robbery in Sarnia

Police are investigating after a gas bar robbery in Sarnia.

Police officials say on August 14, at around 4:50 a.m., a lone male entered the gas bar in the 1000 block of Confederation Street.

The male, whose face was concealed and appeared to have a handgun, allegedly demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk refused and deterred the suspect from getting money.

The suspect fled the area on a bicycle.

The suspect is about 5’5” and 155 lbs.

The Sarnia Police Service recommends against confronting robbery suspects.
