Cecil Shipman, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus, on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the age of 73.
Cecil is the son of the late Edward and Mable (Tooshkenig) Shipman. Loved brother of Adam (Thelma) and Edward Jr. (Regina) Predeceased by his sisters Mary Sands, Stella Pinnance, Rita Day, Hilda Greenbird and his brothers Stanford, Wellington, Alex and Howard. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Monday and Tuesday from 7-9 PM. Funeral Service at the Evangelistic Centre, Walpole Island, on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 2 PM.
