June Elizabeth Babcock, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at C-K Hospice on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the age of 82.
June is the daughter of the late Andrew Frederick and Leta Grace (Deacon) Houston. Beloved wife of John Earl Babcock. Loving mother of Wendy, Curtis (Cheryl), Todd (Carol), Kevin (Lisa) and Brad. Dear grandmother of Carrie, Celeste, Shane, Brett, Eric (Nicole), Troy and great grandmother of Isabella, Cruz and Kaleb. Sister of Shirley Hawkins (the late Robert) and Janet Bresett.
June was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and the sewing club, she enjoyed camping and fishing and absolutely loved watching her grandchildren play sports.
A private family visiting and funeral will be held at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. Interment to follow at Dresden Cemetery.
