Clark: Gordon “Buff” Welsley formerly of Dresden, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the age of 87.
Born in Dresden, son of the late Cromwell and Ethel (Pengelly) Clark. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Johnson) Clark (2015). Loving dad of Diane Clark (Jeff Bonnar) of Brights Grove, Bud Clark (Janice) of Stratford, Debby McFadden (Stan) of Brights Grove, JoAnne Britton (Don) of Chatham and LeeAnn Clark (Joe Boothe) of Blenheim. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ian (Colleen), Drew (Mandy), Ryan (Tara), Leigh (Joyce), Brandi (Matt), Taylor (Gary), Tara, Trisha, Jessica (Tom), Jodi (James) and great grandchildren Reid, Piper, Grace, Jett, Raven, Corvidea, Aiden, Kelleena, Gemma, Delyn and Bently. Dear brother of Doris Jardine of Dresden. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Tyler and sister Betty Woolman.
At Buff’s request, a private family service will take place. Interment in Dresden Cemetery at a later date. A special thanks to all the wonderful caregivers at Residence On The Thames, Village On The Ridge and Chatham-Kent Hospice. If desired, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or North Dresden Baptist Church.

Our sincere condolences to everyone buff and Dorothy were great neighbours for many years ,missed them when they left here, but was great to see buff with bud and Kathleen and our walk around the block, before he got moved into nursing home, our thoughts and prayers are with you all may all the memories help heal the pain for your families now and always rip buff
