Babcock, John Earl. It is with deep sadness that the family of John Earl Babcock announces his passing so soon after the death of his beloved wife June Elizabeth (Houston) Babcock.
John passed at the Wallaceburg hospital on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the age of 83. John Earl Babcock is the son of the late Wesley and Edith (Kearney) Babcock. Loving father of Wendy, Curtis (Cheryl), Todd (Carol), Kevin (Lisa) and Brad. Dear grandfather of Carrie, Celeste, Shane, Brett, Eric (Nicole), Troy and great grandfather of Isabella, Cruz and Kaleb. Brother of Pat Babcock (Bonnie) and Phyllis Heuvelmans (Chris).
John had retired from Hillerich & Bradsby and he too was a faithful member of Knox Presbyterian and enjoyed camping, fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports. John was also a volunteer with minor hockey and the Wallaceburg Lakers Jr. C Hockey Club.
A private family visiting and funeral will be held at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. Interment to follow at Dresden Cemetery.
