Nancy Shay-Lynn Johnson of Walpole Island First Nation

Nancy Shay-Lynn Johnson (St. Denis) “Wah-bay-binesay” or White Eagle, who was a resident of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away in London on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 following a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 13.

Nancy is the beloved daughter of Charmaine Johnson (Jason Williams) and Bruce St. Denis Donna Pinnance) and is the granddaughter of Sherry Johnson, Delwood Blackbird, Lonnie Shipman, Sheila & Harry St. Denis and Harold Jacobs. Loved sister of Brenna Peters (Troy), Jayden Williams, Ty Williams, Jalyssa Williams, Marcus Mills, Jordan Greenbird-St. Denis, Neecey Greenbird-St. Denis, Drew Fisher, Hailee St. Denis and Bruce St. Denis Jr.. Nancy will be dearly missed by her many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the family home, 585 Squirrel Island Rd, Walpole Island, on Thursday and Friday. The funeral will be held at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Saturday, August 26 at 11 AM.
