Port Lambton Pirates gearing up for OBA’s

The Port Lambton Pirates rookie, mosquito and senior teams are all taking part in provincial championship tournaments this Labour Day weekend.

Rookie

The rookie squad, who had an impressive 26-5-0 record this season, classified in the ‘C’ Division and will be heading to Kingsville for OBA’s.

Their first game is against Belle River on Friday September 1 at 3:30 p.m. at Kingsville Arena Park, diamond #3.

Mosquito

The mosquito team, who were a solid 22-10-1 this season, just recently won a playoff series with Wyoming to gain entry into OBA’s.

They have also classified for the ‘C’ Division, which will be held in Leamington.

The Pirates first game is Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Co-An Park in McGregor against the Kingsville Knights.

Senior

The Pirates senior team, who were 25-9-0 on the year, will be hosting this years OBA’s in Port Lambton.

The Pirates classified in the ‘B’ division and will be playing Friday at 2 p.m. against Midland at VanDamme Park.
