A Wallaceburg man has been charged after an argument escalated into violence.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say last month, a man became involved in an argument with another man that is known to him within a residence in Chatham.
Police allege that the argument turned physical and he continued to strike the other man/victim.
As a result, the victim suffered an injury to his right eye.
On Thursday night at 7:30 p.m., a 24-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with assault cause bodily harm.
He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and later released with a court date of September 29, 2017.
