It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick Cecil Johnston on September 12, 2017, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, at the age of 56.
Fred was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Ed and Elaine (Turner) Johnston.
He is survived by his son John, sister Jane (Luc) Boulanger, brother-in-law Roger Snyder, nephews and nieces Jay (Paige), Jennifer (Blain), Eric (Leia), Allison (Ernie) and great nephews and nieces Easton, Landon, Alba and Natalie. Fred will be fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.
Fred is predeceased by his brother Kevin (2016) and a close friend Bill.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. with the Funeral Service immediately following visitation at 11 a.m., all from First Baptist Church, 99 Thomas Ave., in Wallaceburg.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to Community Living Chatham or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
