The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to multiple crashes across the community on Tuesday, including one in Wallaceburg and another involving a Wallaceburg resident.
Careless driving
Police officials say yesterday morning, shortly after 11 a.m. officers responded to a two vehicle collision on Grand Avenue near Lacroix Street in Chatham.
No one was injured and total damage was estimated at $6,500.
A 27-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with careless driving.
Crash in Wallaceburg
Police officials say at around 1 p.m. yesterday afternoon, officers responded to a two vehicle collision on Duncan Street near Elizabeth Street in Wallaceburg.
No one was injured and total damage was estimated at $5,000.
A 36-year-old Sombra man was charged with start from stopped position – not in safety.
Cyclist charged
Police sat at around 12:15 p.m. yesterday afternoon, officers responded to a collision involving a cyclist and a Jeep Cherokee on Northland Drive near McNaughton Avenue in Chatham.
Minor injuries were sustained.
Total damage was estimated at $1,000.
The cyclist, a 75-year-old Chatham man, was charged with failing to signal a turn.
Three-vehicle crash
Police officials say just before 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon, officers responded to a three vehicle collision on Keil Drive near McNaughton Avenue in Chatham.
No one was injured and total damage was estimated at $16,000.
A 66-year-old Chatham woman was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
Two-vehicle crash
And police say at around 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon, officers responded to a two vehicle collision on Hazel Street near Poplar Street in Chatham.
Minor injuries were sustained.
Total damage was estimated at $3,200.
An 18-year-old Chatham man was charged with failing to yield from a driveway.
