NLL: Jordan Durston traded to Buffalo

Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston will be playing professional lacrosse closer to home next season.

The Buffalo Bandits today announced that the team has acquired Durston from the Vancouver Stealth in exchange for Anthony Malcolm and the 12th pick in the 2017 NLL Draft.

The 23-year-old, 5’11”, 215 lbs. forward ranked fourth among Stealth players with 43 points, 25 goals and 18 assists in 2017.

He also finished sixth in the league in shooting percentage (.266) among players with at least 25 shots.

Durston, who also helped coach the Wallaceburg Red Devils Junior ‘B’ lacrosse team this past season, was drafted by the Stealth in the second round (19th overall) of the 2015 NLL Draft.

In 35 career regular-season games with the Stealth, Durston has recorded 81 points, 42 goals and 39 assists.
