Jamie Ryan ‘Louie’ Kooistra of Barrie and formerly of Wallaceburg, died unexpectedly in Barrie on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the age of 27.
Louie is the beloved son of Tracey and Paul Batte and John Kooistra and grandson of Colin & Joan Cartlidge and Bill Batte. Loving brother of Nichole McElrea (Shane), Melissa Lempriere (Derrick) and Shane Kooistra (Taylor Carter). He will be dearly missed by his soulmate McKensie Greig, his 2 dogs Reign & Lucy and his nieces and nephews.
Louie was a former member of the Wallaceburg Sea Cadets. He was a free spirit who loved life and other people.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 PM on Thursday, September 21. Cremation to follow.
