Police looking to ID alleged wallet thief

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are looking to identify an alleged credit card thief.

Police officials say on Monday, September 4, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. a vehicle that was parked at the rear of the Blenheim High School was entered and a men’s black wallet was taken.

Through investigation, it was learned that an unknown suspect allegedly attempted to use a credit card from the stolen wallet at Pioneer Gas Bar in Blenheim on September 4th.

The card was declined as the PIN was not known, police say.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
