Helen Lois Isaac of Walpole Island First Nation

Helen Lois Isaac, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, died peacefully at Copper Terrace in Chatham on Tuesday, September 19 at the age of 83.

Helen is the daughter of the late Charles K and Rebecca (Naggs) Johnson. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Isaac. Loving mother of Ronald Williams (Victoria), Fred Williams Jr., Joni Williams and Randy Williams. Dear grandmother of Dennis, Alicia, Stephanie, Brady, James David Anthony, Douglas, Heather, Tyson, Preston, Aimy-Lynn and Dylan J. Williams and great grandmother of 13 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Gordon, Walter, Roy, Robert and Herb Johnson and Evelyn Riley.

Helen was a faithful member of the Walpole Island Evangelistic Centre, active member of A.A. for over 35 years and had worked at Lionel Trains and H. Variety.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Thursday. The funeral will be celebrated at the Evangelistic Centre on Dan Shab Road, Walpole Island on Friday, September 22 at 2 PM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
