Gervais: Edgar a resident of Dresden passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 82.
Born in Chatham, son of the late Orval and Norma (Gillet) Gervais. Beloved husband for 52 years to Lynda (Weir) Gervais. Cherished father of Murray Gervais (Lisa Munro), and Tracy Gervais. Dear brother of Robert & Jeannette Gervais and Keith & Wendy Gervais. Missed by several nieces and nephews.
Edgar was a member of the Lindsay Road United Church and Shuffleboard Club.
The Gervais family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St., Dresden on Monday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Cathy Larmond officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
