Linda Flanagan, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 29 2017 at Bluewater Health, in Sarnia, at the age of 69 years.
Beloved wife of Bert for 51 years, she was born in Windsor and was the daughter of the late Andrew Cartier, Rita (Flynn) Cartier and step daughter of the late Les Kelly.Loving mother of Allan (Theresa) Flanagan of Windsor, Lisa (Tim) Johnston of Belle River, and Erin Flanagan of Port Lambton. Loving grandmother of Emma, Kevin, Colin, Eileen and Libby. Kind sister of Barb (Glen) Richardson of Port Lambton, and the late Kenneth Cartier. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
The late Linda Flanagan is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation will be on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 3 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, in Port Lambton, with visitation 1 hour prior at the church. Cremation will follow and the Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Lambton will be at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Bluewater Health Palliative Care or the St. Joseph’s Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
