Update: Wyoming man dies in crash near Tilbury

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are looking for witnesses after a fatal crash near Tilbury on Tuesday morning.

Police officials say at approximately 6 a.m. emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision on Queen’s Line, west of Sinclair Road in Tilbury.

The driver of one of the involved vehicles, a 22-year old Chatham man remains in the hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to recover.

However, the other driver, a 24-year-old Wyoming man has died.

The investigation remains on-going by the Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Unit.

Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers and may be eligible for a cash reward.

“On behalf of the CKPS, our thoughts and prayers are with the man’s family, and at this time we are asking the public to respect their privacy,” stated Const. Kelly Helbin, public information officer, in a press release.
