Mr. Joseph Francis Ronald “Ron” Roy, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, in Chatham, at the age of 72.
Ron was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Thomas and Louella (Trembley) Roy.
Beloved companion of Sherry Baart. Loving father of Chris Roy.Sadly missed by Sherry’s children Tina (Terry) Kipping, William “Will” (Mindy) Baart and Stephanie Baart. Also sadly missed by a grandson Carter. Predeceased by his brother Tom and his sister Shirley Lucier.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the Funeral Service immediately following visitation at 1 p.m., all from the Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Immaculee Conception, Pain Court, Ontario.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
