Skateboarder and vehicle collide in Chatham

Police are looking to speak with a driver, after a skateboarder and a vehicle collided in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Tuesday, October 10, at approximately 8:50 a.m. a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on a skateboard were allegedly involved in a collision on King Street W. and Robertson Avenue in Chatham.

Police were notified of the collision later that day by the involved pedestrian.

Police allege she advised that the woman driver did stop and the two of them conversed, before going their separate ways.

However, information was not obtained for the woman driving a grey or silver coloured Honda van.

The police are looking to speak with her.
