Cross country success for Wallaceburg Christian

The Wallaceburg Christian School participated in a cross country tournament with four other schools at Canatara Park in Sarnia on October 11.

The school finished with one first, one third, and three fourths.

Kings lose two in a row

The Dresden Kings have lost two in a row, after falling to Lakeshore 4-1 on Thursday.

Sam Haight scored the lone Kings goal.

The Kings host the Admirals on Friday night, and they head to Amherstburg on Sunday for a home-and-home series.

Griffith and Sabres lose

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith and the Buffalo Sabres continue to struggle.

he Sabres lost to the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night, 3-2.

Griffith was held scoreless and did not record a shot on goal in just over 10 minutes of ice time.

The Sabres are winless so far this season, and Griffith has registered just one assist so far in four games.
