Police still investigating Dresden thefts

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are still investigating a pair of thefts in Dresden, which they believe are connected.

Police say sometime overnight on Monday October 9 unknown suspects entered a shed on Esterville Road in Dresden and removed a 2013 Arctic Cat ATV and a 2017 Honda ATV. The value of the two ATV’s is $10,000.

Also, police say sometime during the same evening suspects entered a shed on Croton Line in Dresden and removed a log splitter, a small utility trailer, two chainsaws, an air compressor, a power washer along with a gas can.

“These residences are fairly close to each other so it is possible that the same suspects committed both thefts,” Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials stated.

“None of these items have been located. Crime Stoppers is seeking your anonymous information to help solve this theft.”

These two incidents are Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers’ ‘Crime of the Week’.
