Feys: Gilbert Leonard, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance,Chatham on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the age of 78.
Born in Tillsonburg, son of the late Hector and Bertha (Arteel) Feys. Gilbert is survived by his wife Dianne (Verstraete) Feys who where married one week short of 50 years; a brother Robert “Bob” and his wife Sharon Feys; In-Laws Joe and Rose Vereecken, Roger and Zulma Deprez, Antoine and Marie Vereecken; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by In-Laws Maurice and Adrienne Verstraete, Andre and Lena Verstraete, and William and Janette (Verstraete) Korpan.
The Fey’s family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell, on Friday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Prayers will be held at 3:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 9 Alice St., Thamesville on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Private Family Interment in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell.
