Isaac at Under-18 National Women’s Hockey Championships

– In high school girls hoops, the Lambton-Kent Cardinals juniors topped LCCVI 37-33, while the senior’s lost to LCCVI 56-26. The senior team also lost to Blenheim on Thursday, 45-38. The junior Tartans fell to UCC on Thursday, 57-52. The senior team from Wallaceburg topped UCC, 46-23. Legacy Blackbird led the Tartans with 11 points, Brett Fischer scored 10 and Megan McCarter chipped in with 9 points.

– And finally, the undefeated Wallaceburg Tartans varsity football team is hosting the Blenheim Bobcats in the league championship on Saturday. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. at WDSS.
