Police seeking witnesses after a stabbing in Sarnia

Police are seeking witnesses after a stabbing in Sarnia.

Police officials say on Sunday morning, November 5, at approximately 8 a.m., the Sarnia Police Service received a 911 call regarding a male in the area of Brock Street and Lochiel Street who had been stabbed.

Initially officers were unable to locate the possible victim but shortly thereafter located a 32-year-old man, who had been stabbed, at a residence in the area of Forsyth Street and Davis Street, police say.

The victim was transported to hospital and later transferred to a London Hospital with serious injuries, where he still remains.

At this time members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the matter and are hoping for witnesses to come forward to assist.
