Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston has signed a new contract with the Buffalo Bandits.

The National Lacrosse League club announced on Tuesday that they had signed the newly acquired forward to a year-deal.

The 5’11, 215 lbs., 23-year-old played the last two seasons with the Vancouver Stealth and set new career highs with 25 goals and 43 points in 2017.

Durston finished fourth on the Stealth in scoring and tallied three points (1 goal and 2 assists) in the team’s playoff game last year.

The Bandits acquired Durston in a draft day deal from the Stealth in exchange for Anthony Malcolm and the 12th pick in the 2017 NLL Draft.

Durston, who also helped coach the Wallaceburg Red Devils Junior ‘B’ lacrosse team this past season, was drafted by the Stealth in the second round (19th overall) of the 2015 NLL Draft.

In 35 career regular-season games with the Stealth, Durston has recorded 81 points, 42 goals and 39 assists.
