Alleged threats made against WDSS

A youth faces charges after allegedly making threats towards Wallaceburg’s high school and one of its VP’s.

Chatham-Kent Police Service official say on Tuesday, November 7 and Wednesday, November 8 a male youth allegedly made threats toward Wallaceburg District Secondary School, as well as the vice principal.

Police were contacted and the male was located in front of the school, police say.

The 15-year-old Walpole Island male was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats.

He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he was later released with a court date of November 29, 2017.
